The Latest Innovation by Crystal Lagoons® That Guarantees Beach Life Year-Round

01/25/2021

One of the most important milestones for Crystal Lagoons® was the implementation of the Public Access Lagoons™. Also known as PAL™, these projects create a meeting place for events, commerce and retail anchored by a crystalline lagoon, and have allowed the company to expand its amenities globally, with important contracts for numerous lagoons in Korea, the United States, and Malaysia, to name a few.

However, the innovation company has announced a pioneering technology that will ensure the lagoons can be enjoyed 365 days a year.

Sustainable technology at low costs

Known as Hot Reef™, the new technology keeps the water in the lagoons at 82°F, providing optimal bathing conditions similar to tropical seas during the summer, as well as in colder periods.

Like all the technologies created by Crystal Lagoons, it is sustainable and eco-friendly, and will enhance the tremendous success of the PAL™ business model, which has already been patented in more than 190 countries. It will be incorporated into all the lagoons powered by Crystal Lagoons technology and at low costs.

Additionally, during the colder months, the areas with Hot Reef technology can be covered by domes, ensuring use of the lagoons throughout the year, including the colder winter months and rainy days.
