Sierra Vista: Texas’ Fourth Project

Texas one of the states with the most Crystal Lagoons® amenities in the United States. In fact, it has just been announced that it will host a fourth project in the area, called Sierra Vista and will be developed together with Land Tejas.

The lagoon in Sierra Vista will total 4 acres, and will add to the list of already existing lagoons in the states, namely Balmoral, Windsong Ranch and Lago Mar, set to open in the coming months. All of these developments have experienced sales success due to the crystalline lagoon.

Sierra Vista will begin construction early this year and has set an opening date in 2021.

During the coming months, a third amenity powered by Crystal Lagoons technology will be inaugurated in Texas. This lagoon will be the largest in Texas. Known as Lago Mar, it will be anchored by a 12-acre pure turquoise lagoon, which will include a public access area.

“We are very excited to bring a Crystal Lagoons amenity to Lago Mar,” said Al Brende, founder of Land Tejas, in 2018. “This project has amazing potential to create a totally new type of lifestyle for residents of Lago Mar and for Houston-area families looking to enjoy a fun, outdoor lifestyle.”

“The Lago Mar lagoon will completely change the entrance into our city, giving our citizens and tourists around the country an exciting destination for relaxation and entertainment” Texas City Mayor Matt Doyle said. “I could not be happier. Our mission was to make our section of I-45 something special. The Lago Mar lagoon is beyond our wildest dreams.”

The lagoon will feature white sand beaches, cabanas, a beach for kids, a two-story swim-up bar, a welcome center, a beachfront event lawn, and much more. A hotel, condominiums and townhomes are also planned for the 70-acre resort complex.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
