Santa Rosalía resort highlights in the Mediterranean

Javier Navarro, project manager of Santa Rosalia Lake and Life resort, highlights that the amenity powered by Crystal Lagoons® technology is “a unique element in the entire Mediterranean”.

Santa Rosalía, located in the Costa Cálida sector, in Murcia, Spain, is the biggest development of Crystal Lagoons in Europe and its central piece is a 1.6-hectares large crystalline lagoon.

The development is located in an area that has more than 300 sunny days per year, being defined as the center of the Caribbean Sea, but on the nearby Costa Cálida of Europe. It is an exclusive residential project anchored by a lagoon powered by Crystal Lagoons technology.

The crystalline lagoon will provide a perfect place for nautical sports and swimming, and is surrounded by 12,4 of green areas, a beach club, houses, apartments and independent villas. In the middle of the lagoon, there will be two paradisiacal islands with palm trees and white sand beaches, with turquoise waters.

Expansion of Public Access Lagoons™ in Europe

With Santa Rosalía, Crystal Lagoons totals three projects in Spain, along with Alovera and Alcazaba Lagoon. Following the success of these projects, the multinational water innovation company is now conquering in Spain with its new Public Access Lagoons™ revolution, also known as PAL ™.

These water amenities can be accessed by purchasing a ticket, and they have been so successful that tickets often sell out a week in advance.

The multinational company plans to develop 25 PAL™ in Spain, in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Valencia, Seville, Zaragoza, Malaga and Murcia, among other important cities in the Iberian nation.

Other reference markets that have signed important master agreements, contracts that involve a significant number of PAL™, are the US (16 PAL), Korea (30 PAL), Pakistan (15 PAL) and Central America (18 PAL).
