Crystal Lagoons® Public Access Lagoons™ revolution
06/22/2020Crystal Lagoons® has developed and patented various pioneering technologies positively impacting peoples’ lifestyles around the world by offering beach life to landlocked areas.
Having initially revolutionized the real estate industry by changing the paradigm of “location, location, location”, becoming the World’s Top Amenity, and adding premium values to real estate projects, it is now focused on its latest business model, Public Access Lagoons™, also known as PAL™.
Adaptable for any location, from shopping malls and real estate developments to horse racetracks, and university campuses, the firm brings turquoise waters and white sand beaches to the city, allowing developers to create idyllic beach life just steps away from people’s homes while generating a new business through ticketed entry to the lagoon.
Here are two PAL revolutionizing the U.S.
Lago Mar
The company’s latest development to be inaugurated, Lago Mar, in Texas, is the longest crystalline lagoon in the US, and while open to residents, it is currently in construction phase to become a PAL, offering year-round entertainment including water sports, concerts, weddings, events, trade shows, day clubs, restaurants, retail, and more.
Developed together with Houston-based developer Land Tejas, the 12-acre lagoon is part of a master-planned community in Texas City, spanning more than a quarter-mile from end to end. It has more than a mile of shoreline, making it the largest Crystal Lagoons amenity in the U.S. in terms of length and water shoreline. The lagoon’s water purity was recently compared to a bottle of Evian.
Epperson
“This is a complete game-changer in terms of amenities,” said Craig Singleton, President of the Metro Development Group, when announcing Crystal Lagoons Epperson project in Florida. Located just 40 minutes outside Tampa, the nation’s first Crystal Lagoons tropical lagoon has seen continuous success since day one. Due to increased demand from the general public in the area, the development quickly switched from a resident only lagoon to a PAL™ so as to accommodate local demand for beach life and water sports.
When referring to the water amenity in a recent article by Miami Herald, industry expert at John Burns Real Estate Consulting, Devyn Bachman, described it as “easily the most discussed major master-planned community in the last decade.”
