12/09/2019

Bintan island is one of the main tourist destinations in Asia and hosts the main and largest crystalline lagoon in South East Asia, developed by Crystal Lagoons®. The media outlet Tour Korea has spotlighted the immense body of crystalline water as a “major attraction” at Treasure Bay Bintan.

The 15,5-acres crystalline lagoon is surrounded by 1.400 meters of white sand beaches, is 800 meters long and is 3 feet at its deepest. It operates as Public Access Lagoon (PAL), which can be accessed by ticketed entry.

Among the amenities incorporated into the lagoon are a platform for bungee jumping and a cable water ski. It also offers a wide array of watersport activites, from sailing to waterslides, paddle boarding, kayaking, wakeboarding for all members of the family.

The development also includes restaurants, clubs and retail, along with 3.000 units for holiday homes and 4 and 5-star hotels, that accommodate the increasing demand for tourism and entertainment in Singapore.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
