Crystal Lagoons Amenity Causes Waves in Vietnamese Media
09/02/2019Viet Times, a local Vietnamese media outlet, has ranked an emblematic Crystal Lagoons® amenity in Chile, San Alfonso del Mar, in its list of most beautiful places to bathe. It highlights the monumental proportions of the crystalline lagoon, which is equivalent to 11 football fields in size.
The firm, created by Fernando Fischmann, biochemist turned real estate business man, has developed a pioneering, innovative and sustainable technology that has been patented worldwide, which allows crystalline lagoons of unlimited sizes to be built and maintained at very low costs anywhere in the world, using a minimum amount of additives and energy. San Alfonso del Mar was the first project in the world to use this innovative technology, and quickly became the “most successful second home resort in the southern hemisphere”.
The revolutionary nature of this concept and the technology that allowed it to become a reality were commercially highlighted when the San Alfonso del Mar lagoon -with an area of 20 acres and 0.62 miles in length-, was awarded the Guinness World Record in 2007 as the largest crystalline lagoon in the world.
Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
