Alcazaba Lagoon capture the attention of the world press

12/10/2022

“In Spain, investors have identified the competitive advantages of this concept and technology of unique value: it makes possible the creation of beach life and a tropical paradise anywhere in the world, transforming the local landscape and creating a magical environment of turquoise waters that can be enjoyed throughout the year”, explains Francisco Matte, Regional Director of Crystal Lagoons.

Located in Spain’s Costa del Sol, the third most-visited tourist destination in the world and one of Spain’s premiere destinations, “Alcazaba Lagoon” is the first project with Crystal Lagoons® technology in Europe. The crystalline lagoon is the main attraction of the project and brought new life to this development that was on hold for many years with little sales.

This iconic 3,7-acre amenity was highlighted by the tourism media, ABC de Sevilla. “The crystalline lagoon is not a swimming pool, but a beach with white sands that is ideal for swimming, kayaking and other water sports to be done in a safe and clean environment” the website explains.

Located on more than 74 acres of land, in the Caseres municipality, Malaga, and closet to important tourist destinations such as Estepona and Marbella, the second-home development sees many European tourists, especially from Germany, the U.K., and The Netherlands.
