Lago Mar project is highlighted as a vacation setting
03/09/2022Mommy Poppins dedicated an article to the largest crystalline lagoon developed by Crystal Lagoons in the United States, located in the Lago Mar project, a city in Texas. The media highlighted this oasis of turquoise waters as one of the main vacation destinations for Spring Break.
During March, anyone can access the lagoon after paying a ticket and they’ll be able to enjoy multiple activities in the crystalline waters that Lago Mar offers in their 12-acre pure turquoise lagoon, where attendees can partake in activities such as kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, sailboats and an inflatable obstacle course, among many others.
The Lago Mar lagoon spans more than a quarter mile from end to end and has more than a mile of shoreline, making it the largest Crystal Lagoons amenity in the U.S. in terms of length and water shoreline. Lago Mar is nearly six times larger than the first Crystal Lagoons amenity developed together with Land Tejas, known as Balmoral, located in Humble.
One-of-a-kind experience
Crystal Lagoons is a U.S., Miami-based company that has developed a state-of-the-art, sustainable technology that has been patented worldwide. This allows crystalline lagoons of unlimited sizes to be built and maintained at very low costs anywhere, using a minimum amount of additives and energy.
One of the main characteristics of this innovation is that it is environmentally responsible, since it uses 100 times less chemicals compared to a traditional swimming pool, just 2% of energy than traditional filter systems, and it operates in a closed system where it is only compensated the water that evaporates.
