Crystal Lagoons Water Feature Named Top 10 Most Beautiful Lagoons In The World

The Australian mazagine, Signature Luxury Travel & Style, has named Crystal Lagoons® initial project, San Alfonso del Mar, as one of the most beautiful lagoons on the planet. The amenity, located off the coast of Chile, has not only constantly attracted the attention of the media worldwide, but also allowed the multinational water innovation company to claim its first Guinness World Record for being the world’s largest crystalline lagoon.

Founded by the influential scientist, innovator, and entrepreneur, Fernando Fischmann, the firm first started with San Alfonso del Mar, and is synonymous of innovation and sustainable technologies that are generating huge impact worldwide.

The luxury travel magazine says: “San Alfonso del Mar (…) is glorious. The lagoon, developed by Crystal Lagoons, is energy-efficient too, using up to 100 times fewer chemicals than a regular swimming pool system, and 30 times less water than a golf course.”

As a scientist with a background in biochemistry, Fernando Fischmann has developed and patented several technologies that have brought about changes in people’s lifestyle around the world, with a portfolio of more than 2,000 patents in 190 countries globally. In fact, Public Access Lagoons are also protected by patents.
