Crystal Lagoons project in Houston is recognized as the “Recreation Center of the Year”

Once again Crystal Lagoons was recognized by an important organization. In this opportunity, the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) awarded Balmoral, project that the multinational develops in partnership with Land Texas in Houston, as the “Recreation Center of the Year“.

This award adds to the 345% increase in sales year over year by which Balmoral won the title for most improved sales, according to “Amenities and Broad-Based Demand Drove Top 50 Masterplans’ Sales”, conducted by John Burns Real Estate Consulting in the USA.

Balmoral features an 1.5 acre lagoon that is almost seven times the size of an Olympic-size swimming pool. The crystalline lagoon is in the center of Balmoral’s “Amenity Village,” an 8-acre area that also includes a 7,500 square foot clubhouse, fitness center, volleyball court, splash pad, playground, walking path, food truck area.

Land Tejas and Crystal Lagoons also develops a 12-acre manmade crystal clear lagoon at its Texas city master-planned community Lago Mar. It will be six times as big as the lagoon at Balmoral community and is set to be the largest in the state.

The lagoon itself will be part of a 70-acre resort-style compound that will include a hotel, waterfront boardwalk promenade, 250,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space as well as condos and townhomes.

In addition to Balmoral, Windsong Ranch project in Texas also is recognized. The development has been nominated, for second consecutive year, in “The Nationals 2020”, organized by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). The development, which is anchored by a 5-acre crystalline lagoon, is nominated in four categories: “Lifestyle Director of the Year”, “Master-Planned Community of the Year”, “Best Community Signage” and “Lifestyle Program of the Year”.

This year, 2019, the development won in “Master Planned Community of the year” and “Best Lifestyle program”. In 2017, it received also “Master Planned Community of the year”, “Best Community Signage”, “Best Landscape Design for a Master Planned Community” and “Best Computer Generated Sales Tool”

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
