Crystal Lagoons® Balmoral Project Takes Texas Star Award for Best Amenity 2020

The Amenity Village at Balmoral, Crystal Lagoons® first project to be inaugurated in Texas, has been named “Community Amenity during the 2020” in the Texas Star Awards, organized by the Texas Association of Builders. 

The centerpiece of the 3-acre Amenity Village is Texas’ first turquoise lagoon, which is surrounded by two white-sand beaches. Other amenities include an infinity pool, a clubhouse, and an area for food trucks.

In 2019, Balmoral’s Amenity Village had already been named Recreation Center of the Year at the Best PRISM Awards convened by the Greater Houston Builder Association.

“Our crystalline lagoon is one of the most unique amenities in Texas,” said Land Tejas Sales and Marketing Director Tim Johnson in a press release.

“We are thrilled that industry professionals agree.”

The lagoon is a driver for sales in the community, with Balmoral ranked No. 2 in Houston and No. 12 in the nation for top-selling master-planned communities.

In fact, Crystal Lagoons amenities found in real estate projects have consistently proven to increase the development value per square meter and the rates they are sold at. The Balmoral project broke records in the U.S. for sales growth during 2018, with an increase of 345%.

For this reason, Crystal Lagoons unique bodies of crystalline water have come to be known as the “world’s top amenity”.
